While we wait for reform, here’s what we can do under current immigration law
Asylum. Grant rates are higher than ever. We have won a number of complicated cases recently based on religious beliefs, social groups, and political opinion.
Business immigration. Plenty of opportunities, even with current regulations.
Citizenship. Too many green card holders procrastinate filing for naturalization. Do not put it off, any longer.
Deferred Action. Applications continue to be filed. see www.NewDreamAct.com
E-2 visas. A less expensive option than investing a million dollars.
Family immigration. We are handling new marriage cases and petitions for parents by 21 year old US Citizen kids every day.
Green Cards through Diversity Visa Lottery. This season just ended and we await results on cases filed from last year.
H-1B spring may have been short this year, but we had our successes and there are transfers going on as I write this post, too.
Immigrant victims of violence continue to seek our assistance. We work tirelessly on these difficult but winnable cases.
Jailhouse visits are at an all time high with record level detention by Immigration. We are representing many people in custody, fighting deportation, and winning often.
Next week, I will continue our trip through the Alphabet of Immigration.
