I was humbled to learn of my having been named to Best Lawyers.

For the 10th Consecutive Year.

Best Lawyers is the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession.

Back in 2012, I was the First Ever Attorney in New Jersey to win “Immigration Lawyer of the Year” from Best Lawyers.

These awards reflect my pride in the team that I am lucky enough to work with.

Without my team of outstanding, dedicated immigration attorneys, there would be no awards.

MUCH MORE IMPORTANT than the Best Lawyers awards are the:

• Countless lives of our clients from all over the world, their families, friends and colleagues.
• I know that Every Day We Make A Difference.

It is also my pleasure to announce that we have expanded our space to double its size.  

This newly renovated, added area will allow us to accommodate clients even more efficiently than ever.

I also learned today that I won Another type of Best Lawyers award.

This accolade is not based on the opinions of my peers but of my clients.

Avvo – the highly regarded legal directory – notified me that I won the 2014 Clients’ Choice Award.

Again I have to thank my team of incredible immigration lawyers for their commitment to our clients.

Speaking of our team, I must congratulate Lauren Anselowitz.

Lauren, our senior immigration attorney, has become an adjunct professor at Montclair State University.

Lauren will teach in the Justice Studies Department.

Her class on Immigration Law begins this Fall.

I also wish to thank two of the best lawyers I know, Maggie Dunsmuir and Riki King.

Maggie and Riki have so many ongoing achievements in our law firm.

Both live in Metropolitan New York and handle many of our cases in that area.

Maggie and Riki are hard working and gifted immigration lawyers.

Their invaluable contributions change immigrants’ lives for the better.

Finally I welcome Mary Lynn Seery to our team as our 5th lawyer, pending her admission to the Bar.

Mary Lynn has worked for our firm for three years as an law student intern, helping clients with waivers, permanent residency applications, and complex research in many immigration law issues.
