Immigration Detention is at an all time high.
There is so much media coverage given to immigration law.
However, other than the occasional story about private corrections agencies that lobby for certain immigration policy, little is said about the massive numbers of folks in the custody of the Department of Homeland Security.
The President, deemed liberal on immigration, has smashed records on deportation.
Along with that figure comes a very high volume of detained immigrants.

The President is fond of saying the US only removes “gangbangers.”
With barely more than 50% of those deported having been convicted of felonies or misdemeanors, this statement is far from a reflection of reality.
